Today’s Featured Goaldone Girl…Michele Good
I’m beginning to realize that if I’m the sum of the women I surround myself with, then I’m one of the richest people in the world when it comes to knowing some pretty kick ass women. Today I’m featuring Michele Good. She and I first became friends back in what some refer to as the OG Mom Blogger days. Our kids were in preschool and she had just launched her debut at Target for her kids accessory line and I was consulting with brands around their blogger campaigns.
Michele is a woman of many talents and a multi-passionate entrepreneur so it was a no brainer to ask her to be featured on Goaldone Girls because I not only admire what she has accomplished but I also really appreciate her high EQ and sense of intuition. She has an uncanny ability to sense when I’m going through something that I’m not sharing publicly and check in with me, when I need it the most.
Happily married, she has 3 kids (2 in college, 1 high school) and all three have been raised as competitive swimmers, the irony is that she doesn’t swim (her husband doesn’t either). After college, Michele started her career in the Netherlands and then moved to the US where her career took her into B2B marketing & communications in high tech companies (including VC-funded startups). She left the corporate world after having her 2nd child and founded baby products business (the one you could buy in Targets all over the country). A few years ago she started social selling.
Michele’s secret sauce is her curiosity, as she believes there is a solution to every problem. The most fun part to her is thinking up the possible solutions.
Also, she is a crazy owl lady. Yes, that’s owl, not cat. A mated pair of western screech owls live in her family’s backyard and the female (named Owlive Rose) lets Michele pet her!
A recent goal she accomplished is that she achieved over $100k in team sales in a single month with her business with Olive Tree People, or as many know it, Oliveda. You might wonder what made her choose social selling as a business opportunity especially after success with retail in the past. Having gone the route of building her own products and managing that whole process, she realized she preferred the creative development and problem-solving, but has seen the value in moving into partnership with brands like Olive Tree People in a social selling role. Not having to manage and produce inventory gives her more freedom and flexibility. It also provides a great way to collaborate with other women looking to have their own business without the investment required for the development of their own products. She encourages anyone who is curious about to check out her quiz.

So how did she reach that huge $100k month milestone? She says it’s simple, consistency and helping my team reach their individual goals by letting them see their own potential. If I decided to get back into social selling, Michele would be the first person I would call.
Her success is not without obstacles though. Michele points out that when running for big goals it’s easy to get burnt out. Staying focused and not stressing out over the things I can’t control (like a product selling out) can be tough.
That’s not stopping her from setting her next big goal for herself.
Currently, she’s working on starting 2-3 new teams in her organization and doubling total team monthly sales by March. And I have no doubt she will accomplish that.
Michele has three go-to tools she says has helped her reach her goals. They include flodesk for email marketing (use her referral link, linked here, for50% off). She admits she’s been resisting using email marketing forever because she personally prefers text but it’s important to have another touchpoint for customers and leads. She adds that she can’t be completely reliant on social media for contacts because you never know when you could lose access to your account.
Since text is her preferred communication, she’s been using project broadcast as a texting app (Michele’s link here offers 50% off first month or 10% off first year).
And for creating/editing reels and other videos she loves Capcut and was more upset about access to that being affected by the great TikTok debacle of 2025 than anything else.
Finally, she shared that the book that has made the biggest impact on her achieving her goals is How to be an Imperfectionist by Stephen Guise, which I definitely need to add to my TBR list.
Wanted to give you all an update on my meditation journey. I’ve shared that I am a member of To Be Magnetic, led by Lacy Phillips and team. This program has given me so much courage to pursue my goals, drop a lot of my limiting beliefs (still working on a few, hello imposter syndrome!), and stay grounded as I launch my recruiting firm. This is not mindfulness meditation, it’s guided meditation that is rooted in neuroscience.\. I do them right before bed and it’s been super helpful to keep my racing, anxious thoughts at bay, too.
